Big Block Brewing throws an annual “Ugly Sweater Party” in December. In 2023 I created a couple promotional clips that featured “V8 Vinnie”, the mascot of Big Block. In this clip, Vinnie is wearing an ugly sweater and doing some bad dancing on a Big Block-themed dance floor. We were trying to play off the fun and absurdity of an Ugly Sweater party while using key brand elements from Big Block (logos, muscle car, V8 Vinnie, etc).
I created the V8 Vinnie character in Blender, creating a 3D version of the mascot. I used a drawing of the original mascot as my guide to create the character in Blender.
These videos were used on social media to get attention for these events.
