This music video was created entirely in stop-motion animation. Everything was filmed on a Canon 5D Mk-iii DSLR, one frame at a time. All of the effects and composition were done practically (e.g. no digital/editing tricks). The camera was moved and focused by hand in all the shots.
The song is “Open Your Eyes”, which is an english-language cover of “Abre Los Ojos” by Zurdok.
While this video is pretty rough, it features some innovative things. All of the instruments and amplifiers are 1/6 scale replicas of the actual instruments and amps used by the band. The “room” where the main character sits is a replica of my studio, complete with a framed Chetes poster.
